Former footballer, Belgian legend, Fernand Goyvaerts, passed away at the age of 65.

Goyvaerts started his career in a team at just 16 years old. In 1962, the Belgian moved to Barcelona and spent three seasons at Nou Camp. In the Catalan team, he was simply called "Fernando."

Before moving to Real Madrid, Goyvaerts was named the most valuable player in the Spanish league (La Liga), but he didn't perform very well in the royal club.

"Fernando" was a nightmare for opponents in set pieces. Moreover, he was an excellent "blocker". After finishing his footballer career, Goyvaerts worked as a football agent.
