Argentine national team today also announced the final squad for the 2018 World Cup. Milan's "Inter" striker Mauro Icardi was included in the preliminary squad list, but Jorge Sampaoli did not include the player who demonstrated excellent fitness this season in the final list. However, the coach found a place in the team for Turin's "Juventus" star Paulo Dybala, who, like M. Icardi, raised doubts for the Argentine coach. The exclusion of M. Icardi from the team is not surprising - in the attack we see such stars as Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain, and the same P. Dybala. Also heading to Russia are veterans of the national team such as Javier Mascherano, Sergio Romero, and Lucas Biglia. Argentina will compete in the World Cup group stage against Croatia, Iceland, Nigeria.
