The first participant of the 2021-22 season of the Spanish King's Cup („Copa del Rey“) has been determined. It is the „Valencia“ club, whose players defeated the „Athletic“ team with an overall result of 2:1 in the semi-finals. The first match ended 1:1, and in the decisive second match on Wednesday evening, the Valencia players triumphed 1:0. The winning goal was scored by Portugal's national team striker Goncalo Guedes in the 43rd minute. In the final, „Valencia“ will face one of the „Real Betis“/„Rayo Vallecano“ clubs. The opponent will be determined tomorrow.
