The first victories of "Sampdoria" and "Brescia" © EuroFootball.com

In the Italian "Serie A" league on Sunday afternoon, eight matches of the fourth round took place. Unexpectedly, Z.Zeman's coached "Lecce" continues its excellent season start, this time defeating "Cagliari" at home and rising to the second position.

The first victories of the season were achieved by the teams of "Sampdoria" and "Brescia", who won away against "Fiorentina" and "Sampdoria" respectively. Lithuanian player M. Stankevičius earned a penalty kick for "Brescia" and later it was converted into a questionable but still winning goal by D. Mannini.

Meanwhile, Milano's "Inter" played a draw for the third time - this time the northern giant was challenged by the "Parma" club. Two matches ended goalless, while Tomo Danilevičius' "Livorno" and "Atalanta" each scored a goal and shared a point. In the only remaining and the most interesting matches of the round, taking place tonight, the teams of "Lazio" and "Milan" will meet.
