Xabi Alonso's debut on the "Bayer" coach's bench marked by a great victory.
In Saturday afternoon's Bundesliga match at Leverkusen's home, "Bayer" crushed "Schalke" footballers with a score of 4:0.
The hosts scored the first goal of the match in the 38th minute. Moussa Diaby scored a fantastic long-range shot.
Just three minutes later, "Bayer" doubled their lead. After a great team attack, Jeremie Frimpong scored a goal.
In the 52nd minute, Jeremie Frimpong, who had played a great game, scored a double. Moussa Diaby made a great pass to the Dutchman, and the latter calmly sent the ball to the bottom right corner of the goal.
The final touch in these matches in the 90th minute was made by Paulinho, who defeated the opponents' goalkeeper after a quick counterattack.
After these matches, "Bayer" rises to the fourteenth position in the league table. Meanwhile, "Schalke" is currently in sixteenth place.
