In the morning it became clear that Donald Trump became the 45th US president. Hillary Clinton's defeat by New York businessman sparked outrage among many people - including representatives of the football world.

For example, London's Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen couldn't believe his eyes and thought that this decision by the Americans is shameful.

Meanwhile, Gary Lineker was not so eloquent and only mentioned that we live in extraordinary times.
