The Irish national team announced changes in the position of head coach.
The European team has decided to temporarily hire former "Man Utd" defender John O'Shea.
The 42-year-old Irishman had played in Manchester with short breaks from 1999 to 2011.
As a specialist, J. O'Shea cannot boast of extensive experience - he has worked in the coaching staff of” Stoke City”, “Reading”, “Birmingham City”, and the Irish national team.
The interim strategist will lead Ireland in friendly matches against Switzerland and Belgium. The matches will be played in March.
