Real Madrid suffered a defeat in Spain.

The "Royal Club" did not have a single Spanish player in the starting lineup for the first time in this century, and they lost 1-2 to the "Villarreal" team.

The "Yellow Submarine" looked more confident than their opponents in the first half and had more chances to score.

The goal was scored in the 47th minute - Yeremi Pino scored with a precise shot past Thibaut Courtois.

In the 60th and 63rd minutes, Karim Benzema and Gerard Moreno exchanged accurate penalty kicks, but the "Villarreal" team maintained their lead.

The match remained highly interesting. Quique Setien's players had opportunities to increase their lead, but they failed to do so and the intrigue lasted until the end. Rodrygo had a good chance to equalize.

Ultimately, the "Villarreal" team triumphed, rising to 5th place in the standings.
