On Saturday, the fourth round of the "A lyga" championship started in Vilnius with one match. At the "Vėtra" stadium, the hosts clashed with the league leader Panevėžio "Ekranas" and lost to them with a score of 0-2.

The injury-riddled "Vėtra" started the match without a single real striker on the field, which was reflected in their game - the Vilnius team managed to defend against the opponents for over an hour, but rarely threatened the "Ekranas" goal.
The first goal of the match was scored by the away team's defender A.Kučys in the 67th minute, and with eight minutes left until the end of the match, the "Ekranas" attacker P.Lukšys doubled the score. This was the third goal of the season for the Panevėžys player, and now he shares the top spot in the top scorers list with R.Beniusis.
"Ekranas" secured their fourth victory out of four possible and continue to confidently lead the country's championship. All other matches of this round will start at 17:00 today - "Sūduva" will seek their first points at home against "Šiauliai", "Šilutė" will face "Kaunas", "Žalgiris" will try to avenge their cup defeat against "Atlantas", and "Nevėžis" will play against the "Vilnius" club.
