The French Football League announced that it has imposed a strict punishment on "Nantes" club fans who pay tribute to the player Emiliano Sala, who died in a plane crash.
The "Ligue 1" team will have to pay a fine of 16,000 euros for the behavior of its fans.
Officials decided that the fans behaved inappropriately during the match on January 30, when they lit several flares and caused smoke next to the giant poster with the image of the Argentinean in the game against "Saint Etienne".
However, the problems for "Nantes" did not end there.
It was found that in the match lost against "Nimes" (2:4) on February 10, pyrotechnic products were also ignited, and various objects were thrown, leading to an additional fine of 4,500 euros, the statement said.
