The futsal tournament brought together teachers and students from different professions

On November 10, in the sports hall of the Social Services Department of the Kaunas Technology Training Center, a futsal intergroup tournament "Autumn Cup 2023" took place, with 7 teams participating. Teams from different professions competed in the tournament: assistant painter-plasterer, chef, assistant bricklayer-concreter, assistant tiler, handicraft manufacturer, and weaver from wicker groups of students along with teachers.

After playing all the teams against each other, it became clear that the winners of the tournament were the students of the assistant tiler group, the second place was won by the students of the bricklayers-concreters group, and the bronze medals were decorated by the girls' team, which will acquire the qualification of assistant painter-plasterer.

The winners and participants of the tournament were awarded trophies, medals, and commemorative gifts established by the Kaunas County Football Federation and the Lithuania Mass Football Association, presented by the organizers of this tournament: the group leader Rytis Šležys, the physical medicine and rehabilitation nurse Palmyra Miliauskienė, and the expert profession teacher Vida Misevičienė.

During the tournament, letters of gratitude from the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda were presented to the students who represented Lithuania in the Special Olympics World Summer Games - Mantas Žilinskis, Gabrielius Kubilius, Karolis Nesteckis, brothers Rokas and Rimvydas Kriauzlis, presented by the head coach of the football team Rytis Šležys.

The event was supported by the Lithuanian Mass Football Association, the Lithuanian Indoor and Beach Football Association, and the Kaunas County Football Federation.
