Alessandro Del Piero is ready to stay in the Turin team and is waiting for an offer to extend his contract, assures the veteran's brother and agent.
The 36-year-old Del Piero is the most productive and the player who has played the most matches for the club, but in June he will become a free agent.
"We waited until the winter transfer window closed, because we needed to give Juventus peace at this important moment," said Stefano Del Piero. "Now we have planned several meetings to understand Juventus' intentions."
"Alessandro has decided that he wants to stay, but the club has to make the decision. If the contract is not extended, we will, of course, be disappointed, but we will maintain mutual respect."
It is forecasted that Juventus will offer a new contract to the forward, who scored four goals in 21 matches this season. This contract will include that the Italian's salary will depend on the number of matches played.
