„Aston Villa“ may receive another serious addition in the near future. Journalist Gerard Romero reports that Luis Suarez, who will become a free agent this summer, has already rejected offers from several teams because he wants to play for „Aston Villa“ next season. The Uruguayan has turned down offers from teams such as „Palmeiras“, „Atletico Mineiro“, Saudi Arabian teams, and „Corinthians“, adds the Spanish journalist. L. Suarez is unlikely to stay with „Atletico“ as recently the forward has shown inconsistent form and has been plagued by injuries. Suarez played for 3 years with „Liverpool“ alongside current „Aston Villa“ head coach Steven Gerrard, who also played a key role in bringing Philippe Coutinho to the legendary English club."
