Joachimas Lowas announced the slightly changed composition of the German national team for the upcoming matches in September. After the disappointing World Cup, Mario Gomez and Mesut Ozil have withdrawn from the team. However, four other Germans who were at the World Cup in Russia were not invited - Sami Khedira, Kevin Trapp, Sebastian Rudy, and Marvin Plattenhardt.
For the first time, Nico Schulz (Hoffenheim), Thilo Kehrer (PSG), and Kai Havertz (Bayer) received a call-up to the national team. Leroy Sane, who did not participate in Russia with "Man City," also received a call-up.
The Germans will face France in the UEFA Nations League on September 6, and three days later they will play a friendly match against Peru.
