The government of Italy today announced that it fully supports the intentions of the Italian Football Federation to hold the 2012 European Football Championship in Italy and will provide full necessary support.
The Deputy Minister of Italy stated at a press conference today: "Italy presents its proposal for the 2012 European Football Championship with full support from the Italian government."
UEFA will make its decision on Euro 2012 next December.
