"La Liga" leadership, receiving good news from the Spanish authorities, will officially announce the schedule for the rest of the season this week. Over the weekend, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez confirmed in a press conference that professional football can return to stadiums from June 8th. "La Liga" President Javier Tebas confirmed that the aim is to resume the competitions that same week. "The league will resume on the weekend of June 12th. There is a good chance that the first matches will take place on June 11th. We would like to have the Seville derby on that day," Tebas commented on the "Vamos" program. Teams have 11 matches left to play until the end of the "La Liga" championship. In the title race, "Barcelona" is in the lead, but they are closely pursued by Madrid's "Real," who have a 2-point deficit.
