The health of the mouse is improving - he can already walk

The Brazilian football legend Pele, who is recovering from kidney problems, has been moved from the intensive care unit and can walk around, the San Paulo hospital where he is being treated announced on Tuesday.

"Patient Edson Arantes do Nascimento is doing well, there are no medical complications. He can walk around his room. After clinical tests, kidney function recovery was not necessary," the statement from the Albert Einstein hospital said, adding that the 74-year-old Pele is now receiving "semi-intensive" care.

On Friday, the hospital announced that Pele had undergone intensive treatment with hemodialysis.
