After the season ends, Hoffenheim's strategist Marco Pezzaiuoli will step down from his duties.
The team leaders have decided that the specialist, who won only one of the last eight matches, is not the most suitable person for this job, but they have not announced a replacement yet.
The 42-year-old Pezzaiuoli has been in charge of Hoffenheim since January. Before that, he worked as an assistant to the retired Ralph Rangnick.
Hoffenheim currently occupies the tenth place in the country's championship.
