"The horror of Fenerbahce" footballers - cracked glass of a flying plane (PHOTO)

Players of Istanbul's "Fenerbahce" football club were calmly seated in the team plane's seats on Wednesday when they heard the captain's demand to fasten their seat belts - they had to hurry. Having flown to Manchester for a Europa League match, "Fenerbahce" players unexpectedly had to spend several hours in the Hungarian capital Budapest. The culprit of this "visit" was a bird that hit the plane's path and shattered the front glass of the pilot's cabin. During the incident, no one from the Turkish team's players or club staff was injured, although, as reported, there was some panic felt in the cabin. "When the captain said we have a problem with a bird - hitting the plane, everyone started looking at the engines, to see if they were on fire. However, the pilot assured that it is not serious, the plane will safely land," explained one of the Istanbul team's administrative staff. When the club officials found a replacement for the damaged plane, the team reached England on Thursday for the Europa League match against "Manchester United". The Turks are leaders of Group A in this tournament - they have four points. "Manchester United" and Rotterdam's "Feyenoord" have three each, while Luhansk's "Zorya" has one.
