The impact of the World Championship on the Premier League: players are falling like flies

For footballers, summer vacations are vital, and without a break from training, there is a high probability of getting injured. As reported by "Telegraph Sport," the clubs of the "Premier" league suffered the most after the last summer's World Cup, delegating many players to the global tournament in Russia. Among them, even 48 footballers reached the quarterfinals of the tournament, but the heavy workload had negative consequences. It was counted that the athletes belonging to this group, participating in the "Premier" league season, had already experienced 75 injuries. Most players suffered muscle injuries and collectively had to miss 528 days next to the football field.
