The incomprehensible VAR decision stole victory from "Juventus" © „Reuters“

"Juventus" lost another two points in the Italian "Serie A" championship on Sunday. "The Old Lady" played 2:2 at home against "Salernitana", but everything could and, it seems, should have ended with a victory for the Turin team. In the 95th minute, Arkadiusz Milik scored what seemed to be the winning goal for "Salernitana". Celebrating his goal, the Pole took off his shirt and was consequently punished with a second yellow card. It turned out a few moments later that A. Milik had received a red card for taking off his shirt after a goal that was disallowed. After a VAR review, it was decided that Leonardo Bonucci, who was offside, had actively participated in the play, so the goal was disallowed. While watching the replays during the match, one might agree with the VAR decision, but after the match photos began to circulate on social media revealing a major VAR mistake. Apparently, the decision was made by looking only at the players who were in the penalty area, while one of the "Salernitana" players was standing near the corner flag and closer to the back line than all the other players. This means that L. Bonucci was not offside. It is worth noting that after this decision, a massive confrontation occurred on the field, resulting in three more red cards being shown.

This image is wild. Juventus denied a last-minute winner after this was clearly missed by VAR. #JuveSalernitana Absolute shambles. pic.twitter.com/aFI3yLdG4I
