The Italian Football Federation will have a new president

Changes continue in Italian football.

A few days ago, Giampiero Ventura, the coach of the national team that experienced historic failure, was fired, and now it's time for federation president Carlo Tavecchio.

The 74-year-old president did not want to leave his prestigious position, but eventually lost the trust of the board members.

Perhaps the latest scandal also influenced his resignation - "La Stampa" reported that Tavecchio sexually harassed a woman.

An unidentified representative of the team had come to the president's office, but he drew the curtains and tried to touch her.

In the past, Tavecchio had become notorious for racist, anti-Semitic, and derogatory remarks towards sexual minorities.
