In Russia, the 53-year-old football specialist Roberto Mancini, who does not enjoy living there, may return to Italy, according to the country's press.
According to "Gazzetta dello Sport," the managers of the "Milan" club - Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli - have contacted the strategist working at the "Zenit" team in St. Petersburg and mentioned the possibility of working together within the "rossoneri" ranks.
It is worth reminding that at the moment Gennaro Gattuso is coaching the "Milan" team, who recently replaced Vincenzo Montella dismissed from the club, but G. Gattuso is not succeeding in returning to the path of victories and the legendary Italian himself is not satisfied with the players he has, therefore considering the possibility of resigning.
R. Mancini, who has a contract with "Zenit" until 2020, is also eager to return to Italy, as, as one could guess, the strategist is not satisfied with having to work in Russia, where football is not at the highest level.
As the same source claims, G. Gattuso may resign from the position of "Milan" coach tonight if he fails to lead the team to victory against Milan's "Inter" in the Italian Cup quarterfinals.
R. Mancini has enough experience working with Italian teams - the specialist has led "Fiorentina," "Lazio," and "Inter" teams.
