Italian media assessed the performance of their compatriots in the World Cup qualifier match against North Macedonia. In the 0:1 defeat in the knockout match, Roberto Mancini's players did not receive many good words. According to the Italian press, goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma looked particularly poor, conceding a goal at the end of the match.
