“Manchester United” – “Wolverhampton” match witnessed a severe referee error.

During the added time, “Man Utd” goalkeeper Andre Onana clashed with Sasa Kalajdzic in the penalty area, but the match referee Simon Hooper did not award a penalty kick.

Moreover, the VAR review did not bring any results for the “Wolves” as well. The referee did not even go to the monitor. “Wolves” coach Gary O'Neil protested and received a yellow card.

Interestingly, immediately after the match, the referees association (PGMOL) apologized to G. O'Neil and his team for this referee mistake.

It is also announced that Simon Hooper and VAR officials Michael Salisbury and Richard West have been removed from the next “Premier” league round.

The match was won by a score of 1:0 by the “Manchester United” team.
