The King's Cup round of 16 - Barcelona derby

On Friday in Madrid, after drawing lots for the King's Cup, it became clear that in the tournament's quarterfinals the current trophy holder "Barcelona" will face another team from the Catalan capital "Espanyol" twice.

The first match on January 5 or 6 will be played at the "Camp Nou" stadium, while the second leg at the "Cornella El Prat" arena will take place on January 12 or 13.

With the same opponent, "Barcelona" will already compete on January 2 in the 18th round of the Spanish championship.

There will be no shortage of derbies in the King's Cup quarterfinals. Apart from the two Catalan capital teams, the relationships between Madrid's "Atletico" and "Rayo Vallecano", as well as the two Sevilla clubs, "Real Betis" and "Sevilla", will be clarified.

The order of drawing lots for all quarterfinal pairs:
