"Fulham" safety Joao Palhinha will remember this transfer window for a long time.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano announced that the Portuguese agreed to join the "Bayern" club in Munich and sign a five-year contract. The footballer had already traveled to Bavaria, where he was caught by the media:

In Germany, he had already undergone medical tests, posed for a photoshoot in the "Bayern" outfit, and sent impressions and photos to all his family members.

"Fulham" was looking for a replacement, tried to bring Scott McTominay from "Manchester United", Pierre-Emile Højbjerg from "Tottenham", but ultimately failed to reach an agreement. Failing to find a replacement, the deal between "Bayern" and "Fulham" collapsed, and J. Palhinha, who had completed all points, had to return to London.

Fulham's coach Marco Silva commented on this situation: "Joao Palhinha had a tough day. He will need support. He loves Fulham, he loves to be here. He is a player who always gives 100% for the team, but he had a great opportunity to join one of the biggest clubs in the world and was really close."

It seems that this transfer is moving to the winter transfer window.
