Before the eagerly awaited "El Clasico" match on Sunday, four matches of the 26th round were played in the Spanish "La Liga" championship.
Points were lost in Barcelona by Madrid's "Atletico", which played 1:1 with the league's bottom team "Espanyol".
In the 24th minute, Stefano Savic scored an own goal. "Atletico" equalized the score at the beginning of the second half, but a winning goal did not come in the remaining time.
"Sevilla" returned to third place after a dramatic 3:2 victory over Pamplona's "Osasuna" footballers.
The Andalusians led 2:0 and gained a quantitative advantage at the beginning of the second half, but "Osasuna", even playing with ten men, managed to equalize the score. Youssef En-Nesyri erased the efforts of the guests by scoring the winning goal in the 93rd minute.
"Sevilla" and "Atletico" are separated by two points.
In other matches, victories by a minimal margin were celebrated by Bilbao "Athletic" and Madrid's "Getafe" teams.
