Legendary Paolo Maldini, who devoted his entire career to AC Milan, is returning to the 'rossoneri' ranks - the Italian will work in the club's management.
In 2009, one of the greatest defenders of all time ended his football career and recently had begun to professionally play tennis, but he couldn't refuse this invitation to return to Milan.
According to Milan, P. Maldini will be responsible for the club's development and sports strategy.
P. Maldini, born and raised in Milan, played for the 'rossoneri' for 24 years. During that time, the defender played 902 matches and won 25 trophies.
P. Maldini is considered by many football fans to be one of the greatest players of all time in his position.
