The Lithuanian national team arrived in Odesa on Monday with a chartered flight, where on Tuesday they will meet the Ukrainian national team in the 2008 European Championship qualifying match.

According to the official website of the LFF, all 18 footballers who were included in the application for Saturday's match against France have arrived in Odesa, as well as three additional players - goalkeeper Mindaugas Malinauskas, defender Vidas Alunderis, and midfielder Darius Miceika.

This means that in the match against Ukraine, we will not see any "Hearts" players. Players such as Marius Žaliūkas, Saulius Mikoliūnas, Edgaras Jankauskas, and Andrius Velička will also be missing due to injuries.

The Lithuanian national team, which landed in Odesa around 2 pm, settled into the hotel and in the evening around 7 pm held a training session at the "Chernomorets" club base, which was attended by journalists from Lithuania. Ukrainian journalists were not allowed to attend the training session and had to find ways to observe their future opponents from the outside. During the training session, which lasted about 1 hour and 20 minutes, the Lithuanians did not train excessively intensively - according to the Ukrainians, the Lithuanian team was conserving energy for the match.

According to employees of the Ukrainian Football Federation, the Ukrainian team trained in Kyiv and will fly to Odesa on Tuesday. On the day of the match, the stadium is expected to host 35,000 spectators - which is the capacity of the stadium. Over the course of three days, 28,000 tickets have been sold for the match between Ukraine and Lithuania.
