The Baltic Cup ended dramatically. In the final of the tournament, the Lithuanian national team fell only after an 11-meter penalty shootout (4:3). The regular time ended with a score of 1:1.

In the 22nd minute, Matas Vareika had a wonderful opportunity to put Lithuania ahead. However, the ball struck up close only shook the goal frame.

At the beginning of the second half, Armandas Kučys was very active, although his chances remained unused.

In the 68th minute, Martin Vetkalas almost scored the first goal of the match with an amazing long-range shot. In the 81st minute, the Estonians finally scored their goal. Mark Anderson Lepikas scored his first goal for Estonia.

Lithuania didn't wait long - after a substitution, Giedrius Matulevičius equalized the score in the 84th minute. The Lithuanian national team played a great attack, and the Zalgiris player at the forefront of the attack demonstrated composure.

At the beginning of extra time, the ball hit the post once again - Fiodor Chernych was not far from the winning goal.

In the penalty shootout, Chernych and Justas Lasickas missed, while the Estonians were accurate four out of five times. The latter celebrated victory in the Baltic Cup.
