On Tuesday at the Sarajevo "Grbavica" stadium, in the European Under-21 Championship qualifying match of Group 7, the Lithuanian youth team met their Bosnian counterparts and lost with a score of 0-2.

In the first half, the Lithuanians dominated, having the opportunity to take six corner kicks, but after halftime, the hosts started playing better and the crucial moment was the entrance of Jusufi Dajic onto the field - after playing for an hour, Dajic made a precise pass to Senajid Ibricic, a 19-year-old winger from Zagreb's "Dinamo" club, who put the hosts ahead.

With seventeen minutes remaining in the match, Dajic was brought down in the penalty area, and Ibricic converted the penalty kick from 11 meters, securing the first victory for his team.

After this defeat, the Lithuanian youth team remains in fourth place in Group 7, but is now trailing Serbia and Montenegro by five points, as they narrowly defeated the Spanish team today. In the other match, group leaders Belgium crushed San Marino with a score of 0-4.
