The magic of the European Championship: in Group B - a clash of strong national teams

On Saturday in Hamburg (Germany), the draw for the group stage of the European Football Championship took place.

The draw resulted in a very interesting Group B, where the Spaniards who reached the semi-finals in the previous European Championship, the European champions Italy, and the World Cup winners Croatia will compete. Albania will also have a role to play.

In Group D, there will be a very interesting match between the Netherlands and France.

The European Championship will begin with the host Germany facing Scotland.

Draw:

Group A: Germany, Hungary, Scotland, Switzerland

Group B: Spain, Albania, Croatia, Italy

Group C: England, Denmark, Slovenia, Serbia

Group D: France, Austria, Netherlands, A playoff winner (Poland, Estonia, Wales or Finland)

Group E: Belgium, Romania, Slovakia, B playoff winner (Bosnia, Ukraine, Israel or Iceland)

Group F: Portugal, Turkey, Czech Republic C playoff winner (Georgia, Luxembourg, Kazakhstan or Greece).

The European Championship will take place from June 14 to July 14, 2024.
