The match started actively with both teams creating scoring opportunities through their attackers. Everton took the lead after just six minutes, when Bruno Fernandes headed the ball into the net after a great pass from Luke Shaw. In the second half, the visitors once again created more dangerous opportunities in front of the opponents' goal, but Marcus Rashford failed to score after going one-on-one with Jordan Pickford. At the end of the match, the "Red Devils" scored their third goal - in the 95th minute, Edinson Cavani scored his first goal for "Man Utd" after a pass from B. Fernandes. After this victory, the Manchester team moved up to 13th place in the league table.
