In the first half, "Marseille" scored the only goal of the match. In the 44th minute, Samuel Gigotas sent the ball into the net after a corner kick by Jordan Veretout.
During the rest of the game, "Lyon" players created more dangerous opportunities, but the opponent's goalkeeper Pau Lopez played excellently and kept the visitors from scoring.
