The newspaper "Marca" has compiled a list of the most expensive football players, which includes four summer signings.
The majority of representatives come from the English Premier League - a total of six players made it to the list. It also includes two representatives from La Liga and Ligue 1, as well as one newcomer from the Bundesliga.
The most expensive goalkeeper is Chelsea's representative Kepa, who cost 80 million euros last summer.
The defensive quartet consists of Kyle Walker (53 million euros), Virgil van Dijk (85 million euros), and two summer signings - Harry Maguire (88 million euros) and Lucas Hernandez (80 million euros).
In midfield, there is one defensive midfielder and two central midfielders. Rodri, who joined Man City for 70 million euros this summer, became the most expensive defensive midfielder, with Frenkie de Jong (75 million euros) and Paul Pogba (105 million euros) following him.
In attack, the three most expensive players in the world are Philippe Coutinho (145 million euros), Kylian Mbappe (180 million euros), and Neymar (220 million euros).
Overall, the total transfer sum of the entire top eleven reaches 1 billion 181 million euros.
