As the end of the first round of the Premier League approaches, the portal Goal has decided to compile a list of the players who have justified their arrival in the league the most so far.

According to experts, three names stand out among all the newcomers.

The third step of the podium currently belongs to Fulham representative Sander Berge. The 26-year-old midfielder was acquired for £25 million and has perfectly filled the gap in the team that opened up after Joao Palhinha's departure to Bayern Munich.

The second-best acquisition is midfielder Elliot Anderson, who cost Nottingham Forest £35 million. The 22-year-old Englishman is known for his excellent passing and assured ball control.

At the top of the list is another Nottingham club purchase - defender Nikola Milenković.

The 27-year-old Serbian was acquired from Fiorentina for just £12 million and significantly contributes to Nottingham Forest's success. Standing at 195 cm tall, Milenković not only scores goals (2), but has also completely transformed the situation and eliminated threats during set pieces.
