The Most Valuable Planet's Footballers: C. Ronaldo Did Not Make the Top Ten

Have you ever thought about who are some of the most valuable players in the world without the already well-known football celebrities?

Now you can find out, as one of the largest audit and tax consulting companies in the world, KPMG, conducted a study, which compiled a list of the 21 most valuable footballers in the world.

In it, you probably won't be able to find unfamiliar names. They come from different countries and many different clubs.

The players' value was calculated based on a certain formula.

The value was calculated based on the player's contract details, individual statistics (passes, goals, etc.), team condition (where and how the club plays matches), and the player's importance to the represented team.

Although the calculations are based on, some details of the list may surprise.

For example, this summer the football market was shaken when 33-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved from Madrid's "Real" to Turin's "Juventus," did not even make it into the top ten.
