Scandalous "Naples" president Aurelio De Laurentiis continues to stir up storms in Italy.
The wealthy owner revealed to the publication "Corriere dello Sport" that due to the very poor condition of the Naples stadium, he may move Champions League matches to the Bari arena.
De Laurentiis claimed that he is willing to pay for the travel expenses of the fans, which would last three hours.
"The Naples stadium is terrible. Such a poor level arena limits the team's possibilities at the international level.
It will take two years, but I intend to build a new stadium so that no one can complain.
If I have the money and the land, the new project can start," the president insisted.
"I asked UEFA to allow Champions League matches to be played at the Bari arena and I am ready to pay for the travel expenses of the club's fans."
