On this evening, a friendly match was played between the national teams of Morocco and the Netherlands. For the recently appointed Dutch coach Fred Grim, this was only the second match, but the outcome of this game was more successful than against the Italians, whom they had to concede to with a score of 2-1. Dutch footballer Quincy Promes scored here in the 22nd minute after a pass from Memphis Depay. The match itself, however, ended in a draw. Nevertheless, Vincent Janssen, who did not have the best club season, managed to score in the middle of the second half. The final result was spoiled only by a red card received by Matthijs de Ligt, after his dismissal, the penalty kick was scored by Mbark Boussoufa.
