On Tuesday, seven more 2022 FIFA World Cup European zone qualifying matches were played. Netherlands secured their spot in the tournament by defeating Norway 2-0 at home. Both goals came at the very end of the match: Steven Bergwijn scored in the 84th minute, while Memphis Depay redirected the ball into the net during added time. This victory allowed the Dutch to secure their place in the World Cup, while Norway dropped to third place in the group and lost even theoretical chances to fight for a spot in Qatar.
