Valerijus Karpinas has become the new head coach of the Russian national football team. V. Karpinas has previously played football himself - he played for both Russian and Spanish clubs, and has played 72 matches for the national team, according to lrytas.lt. As a coach, he has trained the Moscow club "Spartak" (2009-2014) and has been working with the "Rostov" team since 2017.
