The New FIFA Ranking Leader - Argentina

Although the official FIFA website states that the new national team rankings will be announced on July 9th, Goal.com already announces that Argentina, despite losing in the "Copa America" final, has surpassed the world champions, Germany.

Following Gerardo Martino's team are Germany, Belgium, Colombia, and the Netherlands.

In the top ten - Brazil, Portugal, Romania, England, and Wales. The latter country achieved an all-time record. Interestingly, the best Welsh result so far was only 21st place.

It is also worth mentioning that countries such as Spain and Italy are outside the top ten, occupying the 11th and 17th places respectively.

The position of the Lithuanian national team is unclear until the rankings are officially announced.
