"The New Mouse" that F.Adu did not become while playing in Finland

Former football prodigy Freddy Adu, who was once called the future genius of football, is returning to professional soccer.

The 25-year-old American has signed a one-season contract with the Finnish club "KuPS."

The new attacking midfielder's team will aim to climb out of their usual 7th position, which they have held for the past two seasons.

At the age of 14, Freddy Adu was hailed as the new Pele and became the youngest MLS player of all time.

After a few years in Lisbon's "Benfica," the American did not fit in and was loaned out to other teams.

Finally, in 2014, he was sent to the little-known Serbian team "Jagodina." Since 2012, he had only played 59 minutes.

Recently, F. Adu made ends meet by inviting visitors to the nightclub "Shadowroom."
