The "New York City" club will have two famous newcomers - F. Lampard and D. Villa

The daughter team of the "Manchester City" Premier League champion, "New York City" from the USA, will soon sign agreements with two famous football players. London's "Chelsea" legend Frank Lampard and Madrid's "Atletico" striker David Villa will move to the MLS league.

Both players' contracts with European clubs have expired, so the "New York City" team will not have to pay transfer fees.

35-year-old midfielder F. Lampard had already announced that he would leave "Chelsea" after the season, where he has been playing since 2001. This season, the veteran played 40 matches and scored 8 goals.

Even more surprising is the decision of the 32-year-old D. Villa to move to the USA, as the Spaniard was an important part of the "Atletico" team that won the "Primera" and reached the final of the Champions League. In 38 matches this season, the striker scored 15 times.

Both players will spend part of the next season in Europe, as the MLS league matches will only start in March 2015. It is reported that D. Villa will train with the main "Manchester City" team, but will not play in official matches.

F. Lampard will probably be loaned to "Chelsea" until the start of the MLS season, or he will also train with "Manchester City".

Both of these players will represent their national teams in the World Cup this summer.

35-year-old F. Lampard has played over 100 matches for the national team, and 648 matches for "Chelsea". With the London club, he won the Premier League three times, the FA Cup four times, the UEFA Champions League once, and the UEFA Europa League once. With 211 goals, he is the all-time leading scorer for the club.

32-year-old D. Villa won his biggest titles with "Barcelona", where he played from 2010 to 2013. With the Catalan team, he won the "Primer" twice, the Spanish Cup once, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the World Club Cup once. After moving to "Atletico" five years ago, he also won the "Primera" with the Madrid club.

With the Spanish national team, D. Villa has become a world and European champion and is the all-time leading scorer of "La Roja" with 56 goals.
