The opponent of "Žalgiris" in the Conference League selection will be revealed

On Tuesday, "Žalgiris" will find out their first opponents in the 2024-2025 UEFA Conference League. Among the potential competitors are clubs from Wales, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Finland, and Gibraltar.

"Žalgiris" will start the Conference League tournament from the first qualifying round. In this stage, the Vilnius team has the highest ranking out of all 50 clubs and has been placed in the basket of seeded teams.

Before the draw, UEFA divides the teams into groups of 5 teams each. Žalgiris has been placed in the 5th group. According to it, the opponents could be one of these teams: "Bala Town" (Wales), "Vikingur" (Faroe Islands), "Stjarnan" (Iceland), "Vaasa" (Finland), and FCB "Magpies" (Gibraltar).

The draw will take place at the UEFA headquarters on Tuesday at 17:00 Lithuanian time.

Žalgiris' fans are invited to watch the draw ceremony together with the team at the "O'Learys" bar in "Akropolis".

The first stage matches will take place on July 11 and 18.
