The "Man Utd" team, trying to regain the glorious past, has changed a number of players in recent seasons.

However, there is one footballer who has been desired by not one but two different "Red Devils" coaches.

This is current "Arsenal" midfielder Declan Rice.

According to English media, when the player was still part of "West Ham United," he was wanted by Ole Gunnar Solskjær and later by Erik ten Hag.

"I really liked his game and we discussed D. Rice a few times; I think he would definitely have strengthened the midfield. Of course, Declan would have cost a lot of money, but we needed to go after him," O. G. Solskjær had said to the press earlier.

Meanwhile, according to E. ten Hag, D. Rice would have "fit in perfectly" at "Man Utd."

However, neither the Norwegian nor the Dutchman achieved their goal – the England international moved to "Arsenal" in the summer of 2023.
