The 29-year-old footballer named his offspring Modric. This news was announced by his club's Twitter account. It reads, "We also congratulate Javi Marquez, whose son Modric was born today. Congratulations, daddy!" Interestingly, Marquez himself was born in Barcelona, where he previously represented the "Espanyol" club.
