In one of the largest countries in the world, the popularity of soccer is rising in the USA. It is reported that this sport has surpassed ice hockey in terms of interest among Americans and has risen to fourth place. Soccer still lags behind baseball, basketball, and American football. Sports enthusiasts in the USA are particularly interested in the English Premier League, and 9% of them are willing to pay for video broadcasts. In addition, 17.8 million Americans play soccer in fields and indoor facilities, while only 2.3 million play ice hockey. It is expected that this sport will gain even more popularity after the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
