The possible replacement of T. Pulis became clear

Recently, a report appeared in the English media that the main candidate to take over the vacant coaching position at "West Bromwich Albion" is Alan Pardew. This was reported by the "Express & Star".

The new manager was needed for this team after Tony Pulis was fired due to poor results. With this defensive specialist, "West Brom" found themselves on the verge of the relegation zone, and when assistant Gary Megson temporarily took over, they immediately achieved a draw with London's "Tottenham".

So, Pardew has started negotiations with the club's leaders, with whom he met yesterday. However, it is reported that the contract will not be signed in haste, and Megson is ready to work as head coach for as long as necessary.

Pardew's reputation in recent seasons has also been controversial. Although from 2010 to 2014 he successfully worked within the ranks of "Newcastle United" and after signing a long-term contract, London's "Crystal Palace" paid a release clause for him, the Englishman did not succeed with the capital club, and was eventually fired in December 2016.

"West Brom" is currently in 17th place in the Premier League.
